Eamcet 2014 results released on 9th may 2014. The eamcet convener officially release the eamcet results and inform the web counselling dates and details. 

Eamcet examination held on 22nd-May-2014. JNTU Hyderabad conducting eamcet entrance exam every year. This year 2.80 lacs engineering students and 1.10 lacs medical students appeared for eamcet examination.

After releasing the results by eamcet convener the students who appeared for eamcet 2014 examination may check their results on and download the rank card with giving appropriate details on website. Students can participate on web counselling with tha rank card. The web counselling procedure has given below. Students can read the following instructions to participate in web counselling without any hesitations and doubts.

Eamcet Web Counselling

Eamcet web counselling notification will be released on 2nd or 3rd week of June-2014. Students who qualified in eamcet may participate in web counselling to get admissions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana engineering, pharmacy and medical colleges. Students need to register on to participate in web counselling, the web counselling dates will be announced at the time of the notification released. Students have to give their preferences at help line centers only from this year to avoiding the misleadings of third persons. The complete web counselling procedure has given below.

Every candidate attending for certificate verification at Help-Line centers is requested to follow the steps as indicated below

Eamcet Web Counselling Procedure

Step-1: Candidate registration for certificate verification

  • Wait for the announcement from authorities of Help-Line Centers for Registration
  • After announcement, hand over the rank card to officer at entrance.
  • Wait for your turn at the registration hall.
  • When your rank is called, pay the registration & counselling fee and obtain receipt.
  • Collect the Registration cum Verification form from the computer operator at the registration counter.
  • Enter details i.e. hall-ticket number, rank etc., in the register and append your signature.
  • Now your registration is completed. Go back and wait in the registration-hall for announcement.
  • After announcement by the officer at Registration-counter, report at the verification counter for certificate verification.

    Step-2: Verification of Certificate's

    • Verify the details printed on Registration cum verification form for name, local area, gender, category(caste), date of birth etc.,
    • If there is any mistakes, report to the verification-officer for corrections.
    • If you belong to SC/ST/BC category, report to Caste Verification-officer and submit the original caste-certificate for verification. After caste verification-report to one of the certificate verification-officers to get other certificates like Rank-Card, Hall-Ticket, Marks-Memo, Study-Certificate, Income-Certificate etc. for verification.
    • If you are belongs to OC-Category, directly report at Certification Verfication-Officer
    • The Officer will verify all the original certificates of yours.
    • A Print-out of receipts of certificates will be given to you and if you find any discrepancy, report to the Chief Verification-Officer for correction. Append your signature.
    • Proceed to the briefing hall to take instructions on exercising the options.

      Step-3: Instructions on Exercising Web Options

      • Exercising options is nothing but selecting colleges and courses you are willing to join and arrange them in a priority order.
      • Collect the list of colleges and their codes, courses offered, course codes, manual option form and specimen option form and retain with you.
      • The Officer in briefing room will explain the procedure of exercising the options and filling of the blank option form.
      This year students need to give options at help line centers only, we will give the brief procedure on giving options in web counselling.

      Polycet 2014 Certificate Verification

      Certificate verification for students who are going to participate on web counselling from 9th-June-2014 to 16th-June-2014. The complete dates for certificate verification given below.

      Polycet Notification for Minorities 


      Minority candidates who have not qualified or not appeared POLYCET-2014 are informed to submit an application on a plain paper containing details like Name, Father Name, Sex, Date of Birth, Caste Category, Minority, Qualification SSC with Grade, Contact Mobile number, address for communication, supported with Xerox copies of S.S.C, Study Certificates, Minority Certificate or (SSC T.C) along with a demand draft for Rs.350/- drawn in favour of Convenor, POLYCET-2014 payable at Hyderabad, to consider them for the leftover seats, if any (after exhausting all POLYCET-2014 qualified minority candidates), only in the following Minority Polytechnics: 

      1. Govt. Polytechnic for Minorities, Guntur. 
      2. Govt. Polytechnic for Minorities, Kurnool. 
      3.Govt.Polytechnic for Minority (Women), Badangpet, Hyderabad. 

      The information should reach in person or by registered post/Speed post/Courier to Convenor, POLYCET-2014 Admissions, at Sanketika Vidya Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad-500028 on or before 08.06.2014 before 5.00 PM.       Polycet 2014 notification apply online


      The State Board of Technical Education and Training (, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLY CET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering / Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided & Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as second shift in Private Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2014-15. 

      Eligibility to appear for POLYCET-2014(CEEP). 
      Candidates who have passed SSC / its equivalent and recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P., Hyd are eligible. The candidates who have compartmentally passed / appearing for SSC are also eligible to apply to polycet. However, they must have passed in all the subjects 
      before seeking admission. 

      Detailed information regarding eligibility, age and syllabus etc. are given in the “POLYCET-2014 Instructions-Booklet” which will be supplied along with the APPLICATION FORM and is available for sale at a cost of Rs 20/-(Rupees Twenty only) at all Govt Polytechnics, Pvt. Polytechnics & AP online centers, for details visit 

      How to apply: 

      State Board of Technical Education & Training, AP, Hyderabad has made arrangements to file online applications at various AP online/Helpline centres/ through payment gate way. The detailed list of these centres is available at website. In order to file application through these centers a filing fee of Rs.330/- (Rupees Three hundred and thirty only) (Excluding Application Cost) has to be paid to the operator by the candidate. 

      The detailed procedure of filling up of the application form is available in the instructions booklet supplied along with the Application Form. Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before filling-up the Application duly filled in the application form is to be given to the Operator for filing Online.

      The Admission Schedule:
      The admission schedule (Web Counseling) will be notified in all leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET results. Candidates are advised to note that admissions into polytechnics for the academic year 2014-2015 shall be made on the basis of Web Counseling, where in candidates can opt for any course at any polytechnic in the order of priority and the allotment shall be made for his/her best preferred choice based on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue. Details of Web counseling and helpline centres will be available on our website and shall also be notified in all leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET RESULTS. 

      1. Please note that only one Hall ticket will be generated against an APPLICATION FORM. 
      2. Fill the SSC Hall ticket Number, Year of Pass and Date of Birth on the application by verifying your SSC Hall ticket /SSC Certificate or its equivalent, as the candidate data is taken from SSC database. 
      3. The basic data pertaining to the candidates of other Boards is not available in the data base. The candidate has to visit any of the centres along with his photo for filing online application.

      The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. 

      Note: There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favor of the Candidates belonging to SC / ST

      FOR LAWCET: 

      The Test is designed to evaluate the candidate’s ability and aptitude to pursue 
      the study of Law. The Test consists of three parts. Total number of questions will 
      be 120 and the duration of test is 90 minutes. Maximum marks are 120. 

      3 & 5 year LL.B Course: 
      For 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level and For 5 
      year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level. 

      Part – A: General Knowledge - Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks 
       and Mental Ability 

      Part – B: Current Affairs - Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks 

      Part – C: Aptitude for the - Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks. 
       Study of Law 

      FOR PGLCET: 

      A Single entrance test is conducted for all the courses of LL.M. It is of 90 minutes duration and consists of 120 questions of 1 mark each. 

      Part-A: It consists of 40 questions (Jurisprudence 20, Constitutional Law 20; 
      Total 40 questions of 1 mark each). 

      Part-B: It consists of 80 questions (public International Law 16, Mercantile Law 
      16, Labour Law 16, Crimes and Torts 16, and IPR & Other Laws 16). Syllabus 
      and model paper is given in Annexure-I in Instruction Booklet. 

      The candidates have to mark their responses on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) 
      answer sheet by darkening the relevant ovals with Ball Point Pen.
